When you're lying in the shade during these dog days of summer, sipping a tall lemonade, it's the perfect time to join us on the page.  Enjoy an adventurous time travel with Cully or Merrilee and let them inspire you to follow your dreams.  See you in the field next time.  Check out the Events Calendar for when and where.

I couldn't make myself stop reading!  I felt like I was right there!  What an adventure!  I'd like Cully to be my friend.  She was so brave!  After reading Redheaded Angel, I think I can be more than I thought I could before.

An excellent classroom read and discussion starter on many levels: gender roles, American Civil War, prejudice, courage and overcoming adversity.
